I haven't been using the Revitalizing Complex very long (about 2 weeks upon writing this review) but I can see some immediate results in that short amount of time. Thankfully, my skin has not experienced a negative reaction to using the product. After applying facial toner, I apply a small amount of the Revitalizing Complex to my skin, followed by my regular facial moisturizer.
Since I've started using the Revitalizing Complex, my skin feels smoother and the recent acne scars I have from the occasional pimple have been healing/fading faster (thanks to the Vitamin C). While I haven't noticed a major change in preventing the signs of aging, prolonged use may have a greater effect and anyone with more mature skin may notice a bigger change.
+ Lightweight, absorbed into skin easily
+ Nice citrus scent
+ Light moisturizer - good for normal/combo skin
+ Vegan and animal friendly product
+ Product will last a long time (only need 1-2 pumps per application)
+ Aided in healing/fading acne scars and slight discoloration marks
- Non-citrus scent fans won't be fond of this (scent does fade upon application)
- Cost may be out of range for some
- Lightweight moisturizer may not work for very dry skin
- Older scars/discoloration may not fade immediately (long-term use may have better results)
- May not be easily available depending on your location
Overall: After having used several products containing Vitamin C and other ingredients aimed at reducing the signs of aging, the Vitamin C Revitalizing Complex has found a place in my Top 5. (I like Philosophy's Vitamin C Powder as an easier way to add Vitamin C to my skincare products, mixing with a serum or moisturizer.) The combination of vitamins and extracts makes for a good, lightweight moisturizer, especially in the summer if you have normal or combination skin. It might need to be paired with another moisturizer in colder temperatures or if you have dry skin, but I think it would be a nice addition to your lineup of skincare products if you're looking for moisturizer with antioxidants or with antiaging properties.
