L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow - Gotta Find em All!

These eyeshadows have been out for a while, but I've only started to see them popping up in drugstores near me. I've seen all the swatches online, and heard tales of their awesomeness from other bloggers, and I knew I had to try at least one or two for myself.

Minos wanted to investigate my lightbox for safety regulations before I could take photos...
right after these shots he sat down on the paper >.<

Iced Latte, Bronzed Taupe, Golden Sage, and Perpetual Purple

look at all that shimmer!
this is one swipe, without primer
Bronzed Taupe reminds me of Urban Decay's Smog

list of ingredients, for anyone interested

I had the opportunity to test the 24 hour claim of these shadows when MG and I went to the ER last week for his stomach pain. I applied my makeup around noon on Sunday, using UDPP as a base and swept Bronzed Taupe over my lids. MAC Teknakohl in Photogravure to line my upper lashline, and Kiss Me Heroine mascara on my lashes. The photo above was taken a little over 24 hours later, around 1 PM the next day. I hadn't touched up my makeup, other than using some blotting sheets around my t-zone. I got some of the eyeshadow and eyeliner off when I put eyedrops in my eyes because my contacts were drying out, but for the most part there's a decent wash of shadow that remains.

I don't really know who would need to wear eyeshadow (or any other makeup) for 24 hours, but it's good to know that if you really need it to last that long, the L'Oreal Infallible shadows will cling to your lids until you wash it off. You could always run a clean finger over your lid to give it a smudgy effect and blend out any creases.

Have you tried any of the L'Oreal Infallible shadows yet? Any faves?
