Prior to last week, it had been years since I had this meal, and I've been craving it for months....

(NoVa, DC, and MD folks, it's worth the trip to Arlington for this food!)

It doesn't look like much - rotisserie chicken with steak fries and sauce - but it's some of the best chicken I've ever had. It's from a little place in Arlington VA (Anthony Bourdain ate there in his DC episode!) where they serve Peruvian chicken with fries, cole slaw, and/or rice, paired with a spicy (green) or mild (yellow) sauce. I discovered this little gem from coworkers at my first full-time job - where they dubbed payday Fridays "Chicken Friday" and someone would take orders and pick up food for whomever was interested.

It's a ridiculously inexpensive meal - it costs about $9-11 for half a chicken (all white meat costs more) and 2 sides - and the chicken is flavorful and moist, the steak fries are always crispy, and the sauces are addictive. I love to mix them together and use it like a dipping sauce for my chicken. Anyway....it's that ToTM for me and I'm craving it all over again, haha.

Sephora's Friends & Family sale has started, and after reading about the new rules, I'm quickly reviewing my wishlist so I can place an order online. I know they're only issuing a one-time use code, BUT you can place more than one order if you have another e-mail address. They limit you to using 5 email addresses per computer to receive the code, so you're not entirely stuck with piling all your items into one list. It still sucks that they've put a restriction on the sale, compared to having a universal code in the past that you could use as often as you wanted to while it was valid.
