These are old photos from early August, but I was painting my nails and wanted to add an interesting design to them, so I used a dotting tool and created some different patterns on my nails.

Products used:
Essie Sand Tropez as base
Essie Nice is Nice, applied using a nail art dotting tool
random black nail art polish, applied using nail art dotting tool
Seche Vite top coat
I tried stripes on my right hand, but they didn't turn out very well since I'm a righty, but I enjoyed having dots on my nails for about a week!
MG and I were able to spend a week at the Outer Banks in North Carolina with his family (a week before Hurricane Irene hit and tore up parts of the highway that allows access to the Outer Banks), but I didn't take many photos while I was there. We slept in, spent half the day at the beach helping MG's niece and nephew build sand castles/sand pools, napped, read books, ate good food, drank a LOT of Greek coffee and frappes, and had a relaxing time. Minos chased the other cats and stole all their toys, and while we drove home he ventured out of the car on his leash while we were at a rest stop :)

That's all for now - I've got to find my groove again with makeup and work on some new posts! I've also been working on new items for my little jewelry shop - be sure to add DC Bijou to your feeds for new items, or visit DC Bijou on Etsy to see all the current items!
